TURF TODAY WITH PJ GREENO

We’re featuring Assistant Superintendent PJ Greeno of John’s Island West Course in Vero Beach, FL, on Turf Today on the Superintendent Network.

While studying nursing, PJ took an unexpected turn toward the golf industry after playing Call of Duty with a new friend in the field. Just days after starting at John’s Island, Hurricane Milton brought severe flooding, prompting the team to tackle a mini bunker renovation and cart path repairs.

For PJ, the work is rewarding, especially because of the relationships built throughout the golf community. He has been able to volunteer his time at reputable golf courses and meet golf professionals throughout his time in the golf industry. He says mentorship and camaraderie help keep the work environment positive, enjoyable, and connected.
