TURF TODAY WITH BEN ELLIS

Turf Today welcomes a great lineup of guests on the Superintendent Network. Tyler Miget, host of Under the Greens, and David Warszawski, host of the Your Friendly Unabashed Cup Cutter podcast, join Adam in welcoming Ben Ellis, Superintendent at Andrews Air Force Base Golf Course in Maryland.

Ben brings a unique perspective to the profession. He got his start at Fort Belvoir at just 16 years old and has since built a career working on a military base where background checks, security clearances, and even presidential airplanes are part of the environment. At Andrews, Ben is also overseeing a major renovation project designed to create a championship golf course.

Ben is also the author of The First Hundred Days: Becoming a Golf Course Superintendent and Living to Tell the Story, an honest viewpoint at both the positive and challenging realities of life as a golf course superintendent.

For anyone entering the profession, Ben is an excellent resource and a strong advocate for sharing knowledge, experiences, and support across the superintendent community.
