TURF TODAY WITH OWEN SINGER

At just 22 years old, Owen Singer joins Turf Today on the Superintendent Network and is already making his mark as one of the youngest Canadian golf course superintendents in the industry. With over six years of experience in turf management, he’s taken a non-traditional path, but staying close to home has proven to be the right move.

Owen emphasizes that volunteering at tournaments has been a valuable way to build connections within the industry. He also reflects on how his time at the University of Guelph equipped him with essential knowledge, and how stepping up to manage a struggling course was the bold move he needed to demonstrate his leadership, regardless of his age. Owen is proof that having support leads to success, so be sure to listen!
