TURF TODAY WITH MARK JORDAN

On this episode of Turf Today on the Superintendent Network, Mark Jordan, a familiar and respected figure in the industry shares about his life on and off the golf course. Over a remarkable career at Westfield Country Club in Westfield Center, OH, Mark served as a superintendent, general manager, and Director of Agronomy. This blend of leadership roles ensured championship-caliber course conditions and strong teamwork where he was able to make a lasting impression in his 36 years at the club.

Though he has stepped away from day-to-day golf course operations, Mark remains deeply involved in the game through his work with the Ohio Collegiate Golf Tour, where he continues investing in the next generation of players and industry leaders. He loves spending time with his wife, his high-school sweetheart, and his grandkids.

Mark reflects on meaningful lessons in leadership, mentorship, balancing family life on the course, and the lifelong friendships formed throughout career.
